Synonymous with the bop sounds of the 50s and 60s Blue Note has seen artists such as Horace Silver, Hank Mobley, Wayne Shorter, Grant Green, Herbie Hancock, Miles Davis and Art Blakely feature on their recordings. This ‘Blue Note’ sound along with its iconic artwork from the creative mind of Reid Miles created a legacy that continues strongly today. With an expansive catalogue to select from and a series of sold out shows behind them, ‘Blue Note 60’ sees this lineup playing an assortment of tunes both iconic and lesser known from the year 1960.
