Bassist, band leader and Co-Founder of Tomorrow’s Warriors, Gary Crosby OBE leads his quintet in a celebration of the life, music, and impact of one of the most iconic jazz innovators of all time, Miles Davis. Focussing on the era defined by the formidable Second Great Quintet, featuring Ron Carter, Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, and Tony Williams, Gary will be delving deep into the ground-breaking recordings and musical approach that were the hallmarks of the Quintet between 1964 and 1968. Gary will be joined by Trumpet player Mark Kavuma, Denys Baptiste (sax), Andrew McCormack (piano), and Rod Youngs (drums).
