Elevating Connections invites you to our 10th Annual Poetry Jam, "Still Becoming", an unforgettable evening celebrating the voices and creativity of youth and young adults who have experienced foster care. Through poetry, spoken word, music, storytelling, and visual art, young people will share their truths, honor where they have been, and remind us that their stories are still being written. This year’s Poetry Jam is presented in connection with Dazzle’s "American Heirlooms" series, which celebrates the diverse cultures, stories, and creative voices that have shaped Colorado and our country. As America marks its 250th anniversary and Colorado its 150th, "Still Becoming" adds an essential perspective to that larger story: our history continues to be written by young people whose voices, experiences, hopes, and creativity deserve to be heard. Join us in person at Dazzle or through the livestream and become part of a community that listens, celebrates, and believes in everything these young people are still becoming. 6:00 PM Doors open.
