Combining storytelling, animation, live music, field recordings and electronics, the performance explores the multiplicity of the self and challenges notions of identity as singular, fixed, and static. Through the journeys the alebrijes take us on, we are invited to consider identity as boundless and ever-transforming, and to reunite with those parts of ourselves we often leave unnoticed or avoid.
