Diva Baara Tuesday 01/09/2026 from 21:00 Diva Baara, whose real name is Bára Vaculíková, creates music at the crossroads of jazz, pop, retro groove, electro-swing, and female singer-songwriter traditions. Her vibrant songs, often accompanied by the ukulele, mainly explore themes of womanhood, emotions, and relationship twists. Her first album, Debut (2017), delved into electro-swing. She later had the opportunity to open for Dutch electro-swing icon Caro Emerald at Prague’s Forum Karlín. In the fall of 2024, she released her second original album, featuring a range of guest artists, including vibraphonist Radek Krampl, pianist Jan Steinsdörfer, arranger Emil Viklický, and the S.V.A. string trio. This time, her sound shifts more towards retro soul and blues. Diva Baara’s concerts are a visual spectacle infused with the spirit of burlesque, cabaret, and swing dance parties, enriched with lush backing vocals and a stage presence that borders on stand-up comedy.
