Pianist and composer Daniel Meron and his trio deliver a set of highly melodic, expressive music to celebrate their upcoming release, Live at The Sound Room . Featuring bassist Pablo Menares and drummer Jimmy Macbride, the group presents original modern jazz infused with Middle Eastern and Latin American influences. These three musicians—all fixtures of the New York City jazz scene for over 15 years—perform Meron's compositions in a highly democratic manner, focusing on interplay, self-expression, and spontaneity.
