Back to All Events Relax Attack Jazz Series: Kari Novilla + Mary Halm Wednesday, August 12, 2026 9:00 PM 10:00 PM Google Calendar ICS Kari Novilla - harp Mary Halm - bass Kari Novilla is an internationally recognized, multi-genre harpist whose work spans classical, jazz, and electronics, and is rooted in a commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and outreach to under-served communities. She produces her own charity concerts and educational programs, maintains an active performing career as a soloist, orchestral musician, and bandleader, and has appeared on numerous concerts, recordings, and soundtracks in the US and Europe. Trained in both classical and jazz harp, she has performed at major venues from Wigmore Hall to the Kennedy Center, worked with leading orchestras and conductors, and now makes Chicago her base as a Fellow and Principal Harpist of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago while running a vibrant private teaching studio and freelancing for concerts, weddings, worship services, and civic events.
