Sam Broverman Duo, Vocal Jazz & Entertainer Sam Broverman: Sam Broverman is a Toronto based jazz singer and songwriter who performs in Toronto jazz venues regularly, and other venues across Canada, the US, Asia and Europe. His first album, released in 2011, was a tribute to Johnny Mercer. He has released four jazz albums, the most recent being “”A Jewish Boy’s Christmas”” ins 2018, based on his annual cabaret show of the same name being performed here tonight. In his other avocation, he is a mathematics professor emeritus at the University of Toronto and has a recorded an album of math parody songs. Peter Hill: Peter Hill is a singer’s best friend. He is an in demand sideman on the Toronto jazz scene, playing with Alex Pangman’s Alleycats, the Laura Hubert Band, Sam Broverman, and formerly with the late Jeff Healey’s Jazz Wizards.
