About

Joanna Kucharczyk piano and vocals · Marcelo Woloski percussion Quiet Colors is the duo formed by Polish singer and pianist Joanna Kucharczyk and Argentine percussionist Marcelo Woloski , who have been based in Barcelona for the past three years. “It’s a fascinating musical universe,” explains Kucharczyk . “This classic voice-and-piano combination becomes so special because of the percussion — or perhaps I should say the orchestral percussion — performed by Marcelo . Thanks to his immense imagination and creativity in orchestration and arranging, each song has its own universe.” According to Woloski , “ Quiet Colors is a collaboration born out of the love and admiration Joanna and I have for each other, both humanly and musically. She brings together a beautiful combination of subtlety, groove, and musicality that makes anything she plays feel special.” A duo that, in their own words, is “minimalistic and rich at the same time,” and above all “pays tribute to storytelling and lyrics as the essence and center of the songs.”
