HillHillHill is the ensemble of three Chicago-based instrumentalists: saxophonist and guitarist Will Greene, cellist Ishmael Ali and drummer Lilly Finnegan. Informed by their collective roots in the jazz tradition, they build rich, dynamic soundscapes through improvisational exploration. Their compositions fuse elements of jazz, funk and porgressive rock, jumping from dissonant, abstract grooves to more lyrical and melodic phrasing.
