Fronted by the magnetic Alinta Chidzey — acclaimed vocalist, songwriter, and star of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, Chicago, and West Side Story — the Emperors’ perform original songs from their debut album ‘I Got You’ and rearranged standards inspired by Ella, Coltrane and Gregory Porter. Led by tenor saxophonist Remco Keijzer (Michael Bublé,You Am I, The Bamboos), the band features an all-star lineup: Mark Fitzgibbon (Lee Kunitz, Ronnie Scott) on piano , Chris Hale on bass (Kate Cerebrano, Gotye), and Danny Farrugia on drums (The Cat Empire, Tina Arena).
