About Margot Petrie Margot Petrie is a French-born, Melbourne based singer known for her sultry vocals and magnetic on-stage presence. Creating music for the after hours—shadowy, intimate and quietly devastating- she draws on her jazz training to craft emotionally resonant performances steeped in nocturnal beauty. A fixture of Melbourne’s music scene, Margot has appeared at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, The Night Cat, The Toff in Town, and The Curtin, with international performances at Paris Jazz venues including 38 Rev and La Gare Le Gore.
