Robert Glasper X Wyclef Presents Q Theory Robert Glasper Robert Glasper is a genre-defying pianist, producer, and composer celebrated for blending jazz, R&B, and hip-hop in groundbreaking ways. With a rich catalog that includes iconic albums like Black Radio and its sequels, Glasper has redefined contemporary jazz. In 2024 & 2025, he released four new albums — Let Go, Code Derivation, Keys to the City: Volume 1, and a holiday album, In December—continuing his streak of innovative music. Glasper is a mainstay at New York's Blue Note Jazz Club, where his acclaimed “Robtober” residency, which is about to embark on its 7th year, showcases the spontaneous alchemy of his collaborations in an intimate and legendary space. His partnership with the Blue Note has never been more culturally impactful, highlighted by the success of his Black Radio Experience in Napa Valley and partnering on the opening of the brand new Blue Note Los Angeles club. Beyond the stage, his vast contributions to film scoring, including films The Photograph, Luther: Never Too Much and Miles Ahead, and Emmy-nominated series Winning Time, demonstrate his versatility as a musician. A five-time Grammy award winner with an additional 15 nominations, an Emmy award and Peabody award winner, Glasper's accolades underscore his impact on modern music, cementing his legacy as a boundary-pushing artist and cultural icon. Wyclef Jean The music that three time Grammy Award winning and Golden Globe and Emmy nominated Wyclef Jean has written, performed, and produced — both as a solo superstar and as founder and guiding member of the Fugees — has been a consistently powerful, pop cultural force for over two decades. In 1996, the Fugees released their monumental album The Score. Since then, Wyclef has released eight albums as a solo artist that have sold nearly nine million copies worldwide, including his 1997 debut The Carnival. 2020 found Wyclef venturing into the podcast industry as the host of RunThatBack, a one of a kind weekly show for music lovers of any type, where Wyclef interviews heavy hitters from all walks of life, from music, to sports, politics, and beyond. That same year, he teamed up with Google to create a jingle for their #BlackOwnedFriday campaign to promote and support shopping black-owned businesses for Black Friday during the holiday season. This campaign won a Webby Award, and was nominated for a Clio Award, among others. In 2021 Wyclef co-founded SodoMoodLab, a jingle and scoring company. In his most recent project with Sodo, Wyclef stepped in as composer for seasons four, five, and six of Showtime’s The Chi, a show created by screenwriter and actress Lena Waithe. In August 2023, Wyclef hosted the annual Caribbean Music Awards, which took place in Brooklyn, New York. Most recently, Wyclef became Co-Chair of the Music Advisory Board of Harlem Festival of Culture, an annual New York City festival which celebrates Black music, culture, and pride. In 2023, Wyclef partnered with leading retirement planning company TIAA to release “Paper Right,” featuring Pusha T, Lola Brooke, Capella Grey, and Flau’jae. The TIAA x Wyclef campaign raises awareness among America’s youth on the importance of preparing for their future through financial independence, especially the 54% of African Americans who may not have enough funds to retire comfortably. As part of this partnership, all proceeds from “Paper Right” streams are being donated directly to the non-profit organization First Generation Investors, an organization dedicated to empowering underserved high school students with investing literacy. Most recently, Wyclef signed on as a consultant for Google DeepMind where he dives deeper into the AI Technology space, which coincides with the engineering and scoring work he's doing in his own company SodoMoodLab.
