Live music is back on stage at The Mad Monkfish! For those who can't make it to the Jazz Baroness Room, Monkfish now streams live all of its performances on their Facebook page . The Jazz Vocal Jam Session takes place the 1st & 3rd Sundays of each month from 3pm-6pm. A featured vocalist will start each session before inviting other vocalists to join the house band. There will be a physical sign-up sheet which will be first come, first serve. We appreciate if you purchase something to help the restaurant out for bringing all of this great jazz to us! This week the featured singer will be Marisa Kang. Marisa Kang is an amalgamation as a muralist, fabricator, and a lifelong practitioner of music. Trained vigorously in opera at an early age, Marisa has sung in varying genres throughout the years, with a passionate interest in classic jazz, bluesy ballads and swing. She currently sings with her latest project, Tiger Jazz Collective, created with the intention to honor the sounds of a timeless era.
