Join them for an evening of storytelling through original compositions with dynamic improvising, soulful melodies, and danceable rhythms, all woven into a vibrant tapestry of sound and texture. Henry Ivie-Gardner is a guitarist, composer, producer, and recent graduate from University of Oregon in jazz studies. He has collaborated with musicians such as Nicole McCabe, Telemakus, Braxton Cook, as well as many others in the space of contemporary improvised music. Henry strives to offer a unique and sincere voice to the scene both as a guitarist and as a composer; exploring music through world-building and storytelling, inspired by musicians such as Bill Frisell, Esperanza Spalding, Julian Lage, and many others.
