Tsombanis4, the quartet founded by the renowned tenor saxophonist Anna Tsombanis, is causing a sensation with its unusual line-up. With two double basses, saxophone and drums, the composer, who is known for her preference for low notes, explores the sound possibilities of the lower register and gives it plenty of space.
