FLOTET, Hip-Hop x Post-Jazz x Funk FLOTET IS A BAND with feet in both traditional and experimental pools of composition. Drawing on eclectic tastes, they improvise over themes ranging from post-bop, fusion, Brazilian jazz and hip hop, as well as their own originals. With a stream of consciousness approach to performing, they float seamlessly from Ed Motta to Miles to Mf Doom with unflinching conviction.
