Nothing was ever the same in the world of music after the dazzling passage of Charlie "Bird" Parker on this earth and the invention of Be-Bop. His genius paved the way for everything that followed and inspired millions of musicians across the globe. Today, Laurent Barbier dusts off his old alto saxophone for a flying visit to his native Belgium from Canada, where he holds a PhD and teaches at Laval University, to reunite with his friend and partner-in-crime Joachim Caffonnette and celebrate the music of Yardbird.
