Joined by his son, the acclaimed Roberto Carcassés , and outstanding Cuban musicians based in Spain, the performance will become a musical dialogue between generations. Inspired by the film “Timbalayé” , starring Bobby Carcassés himself, the evening will explore the origins of Afro-Cuban music and the birth of Cuban jazz through the perspective of one of its most influential pioneers.
