Terry Kroger: Tribute to Art Blakey

About

Alto-saxophonist Terry Kroger can usually be found playing to Baltimore’s elderly population through his own music therapy programs. He leads his quintet through standards that swing with classic, hard-bop, mid-20th century jazz style. Here he leads a tribute to the great drummer and bandleader Art Blakey with an expanded group: Freddie Dunn Jr. on trumpet, flugelhorn, and pocket trumpet; Mike Weber on trombone; Bill Washburn on piano; Eric Worthy on bass; and Jay Moody on drums.
