London-based jazz singer Oli Gosh brings her warm, smoky vocals and magnetic stage presence to PizzaExpress Live. Sultry and understated one moment, raw and powerful the next, her singing brings an emotional depth to everything from jazz standards to her own original material. Oli trained as an actress at RADA before beginning her musical journey in electronica, releasing music on Armada, Crosstown Rebels and 20/20 Vision, with support from BBC Radio 1, Pete Tong and BBC Introducing. Jazz was always her first love. Now she’s come back to it. This show offers a first taste of her debut jazz-fusion album, currently in the works, blending vintage jazz with the darker, more contemporary edge of her musical past. A divorce behind her and a new chapter ahead, Oli is ready to sing the blues.
