Tomas Rivera (piano, synth) ; Shoko igarashi - (tenor saxophone, synth) ; Ze Almeida (upright b Chilean pianist Tomas Rivera has made a name for himself on the Brussels scene, whose clubs he has been gracing for several years as one of the leading figures of the young guard of Belgian jazz. Developing a pared-down style reminiscent of Ahmad Jamal, he is an inspired composer and arranger who doesn't hesitate to take risks to explore new sounds, immersed in unexpected harmonic relationships while wholeheartedly embracing the fragility of the music. Tonight, he surrounds himself with an international line-up featuring eclectic Japanese saxophonist Shoko Igarashi, Portuguese bassist Ze Almeida, and French drummer Pierre Hurty.
