Italian-born singer-songwriter, pianist and multi-instrumentalist Ilario Ferrari returns to PizzaExpress Live Soho for a special two-set concert reflecting both the road travelled and the music still to come. The first set looks ahead, exploring newer, song-led material with Ferrari singing and moving between electric guitar and keyboards, joined by Will Davis on electric bass and Eric Young on drums; the second returns to the expansive sound of the acoustic trio with Charlie Pyne on double bass, alongside special guests including Omar Puente, Enrico Olivanti and the Jam String Collective. From reimagined favourites from Above The Clouds to new original music, this promises to be a warm, soulful and uplifting evening of improvisation, collaboration and musical storytelling.
