Mafalda Minnozzi

About

🗓️ Friday, October 16, 2026 🕒 7PM 📍 Pangea, 178 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003 Mafalda Minnozzi returns to Pangea after the sold-out success of her March 2026 concert, “Courageous Voices: The Musical Soul of Women”. Accompanied by her longtime musical partner, guitarist Paul Ricci, she now presents VOICES OF WOMEN, a journey through the voices that have shaped her art. From the Parisian soul of Édith Piaf to the Brazilian passion of Elis Regina, from the iconic power of Mina and Ornella Vanoni to the timeless elegance of Diana Krall—who made “My Shining Hour” her own —Mafalda weaves a tapestry of songs that cross borders, languages, and generations. An intimate evening in the heart of the East Village, where the great divas of song come together in one voice. Paul Ricci, her longtime collaborator, has just released his new album “The Path” \(Origin Records, January 2026\), a project hailed as “a 29-year journey toward a borderless jazz” \(Paris-Move\). Featuring an extraordinary ensemble that includes Anthony Jackson, Steve Jordan, Randy Brecker, and the Malian singer Abdoulaye Diabaté, the album showcases Ricci’s unique ability to blend jazz, Brazilian, African, and global rhythms. What the Critics Say: “Minnozzi is boundlessly expressive, connecting to each lyric viscerally, regardless of language. It’s that same uninhibited energy she brings to the stage, where everything including body language and gesture heightens the emotional impact of her delivery. Minnozzi’s approach to a song is one of a kind.” – David Adler \(editor-in-chief, JazzTimes\) “As a singer, her technique is sublime; she sings not simply with ease, but with faculty, as only very few singers in the world can do.” – Raul Da Gama \(Latin Jazz Network\) PERFORMERS: VOCALS: Mafalda Minnozzi GUITAR: Paul Ricci Venue: PANGEA, 178 2nd Avenue, New York, NY 10003 Info & Reservations: \(212\) 995-0900 | pangeanyc.com Management & Booking Marco Bisconti – MBM Management / MAMA Prod.
