Stepan Flagar, who hails from the Czech Republic, came up with this extraordinary idea while studying at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz. Flagar, who has lived in Vienna since 2014, is one of the most exciting figures on the local young jazz scene, as evidenced by his involvement in the bands “Purple is the Color” and “Haezz” (alongside trumpeter Martin Eberle and bassist Tobias Vedovelli). Georg Vogel is a keyboardist, composer and instrument maker. Aside from regular solo performances, he leads the 31-tone ensemble Dsilton (with David Dornig and Valentin Duit), Flower (with Raphael Preuschl and Michael Prowaznik), Tree (with Andreas Waelti and Michael Prowaznik); he also performs in duo with Elias Stemeseder, in the trio GeoGeMa with Matheus Jardim and Gerald Preinfalk, and with the Max Nagl 5.
