Sarah Leroux Quartet

About

Sarah Leroux is a singer, composer, lyricist, and teacher based in Montréal. Originally from Québec City, she has studied with Julie Cimon Racine (Campus Notre-Dame-de-Foy), Sienna Dahlen, Camille Thurman, and Ranee Lee (McGill University). In recent years, she has performed with pioneers of the local jazz scene such as Kevin Dean, Adrian Vedady, and Kate Wyatt. Sarah also received a Downbeat Student Music Award for Undergraduate Outstanding Performance with the McGill Jazz Vocal Conglomerate in 2025 and Band of the Year at the Toronto Undergraduate Jazz Festival in 2026. Having both classical and jazz backgrounds, she has a significant interest in improvisation, Francophone music, musical theatre, and arranging.
