Eirik Haugbro Quintet plays Christian McBride

Portland native Eirik Haugbro, has performed with renowned artists the nationwide and is deeply influenced by the great piano trios of jazz history, drawing inspiration from the music of legends such as Ray Brown and Oscar Peterson. Eirik studied the double bass at Western Washington University and received a master’s in jazz studies from the University of Northern Colorado. He has performed with Pedro Martins, Genevive Artadi, Michael Mayo, John Fedchock and Ali Jackson.
