Adinda Hertmans, winner of the Toots Thielemans Award 2025, is unquestionably the voice everyone is talking about today in Belgian jazz. At just 24 years old, the daughter of Peter Hertmans — an essential figure of the guitar in the Low Countries — impresses not only with her vocal mastery but also with her knowledge of harmony and repertoire, displaying remarkable maturity. Tonight, she takes to the stage in prime time at the head of her quartet to perform her own repertoire, surrounded by some of the most gifted musicians of the young Brussels jazz generation.
