The Downbeat Critics Poll #1 Rising Star Vibraphonist and NPR Jazz Night in America’s Class of 2024 Youngbloods pick has notably shared the stage for recent projects with Christian McBride, Tyshawn Sorey, Marcus Gilmore, The HR Big Band, and Cecile Mclorin Salvant, and leads her own quintet for international touring. Sasha is both a Vater Drumsticks and a Ludwig/Musser artist, and has recently joined forces with Alternate Mode for their electronic midi vibraphone, the MalletKAT, becoming an integral part of her recent live performances. In 2026, Sasha signed to Concord Records ahead of the debut of her electric band, Arts & Sciences, who’s self titled album is slated for release in March of 2027. Earshot Jazz Festival Resident Artist Sidney Hauser gets the evening started with a quartet that draws on jazz’s many offshoots and showcases her truly distinctive voice on saxophone. She’s joined by some of Seattle’s most dexterous players — Trevor Ford (bass), Dylan Hayes (keyboards), and Adam Kessler (drums) — in celebration of the group’s anticipated debut album, Whirl .
