After seeing Will play, Buddy announced to the audience “Now that’s what I call the blues.” Will Johns new album On Top Of The World released in July hit #7 on the Roots Music Report Blues Chart and #2 on the international chart. His memoir BLUESDADDY Born Into Noise, Raised on Chaos and Saved by the Blues is out in September 2026. Will’s family’s legacy is that of a renowned music family. Will’s aunt Pattie Boyd was famously married to both George Harrison and Eric Clapton. He has remained close to Eric since childhood. Will is the son of producer Andy Johns (Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin) and model/actress Paula Boyd.
