Sahn Cannon Quintet Mad Monkfish Concert Series September 30, 2026 Sahn brings his diverse Quintet, from Korea, all the way to Mauritius, to the Monkfish Stage, Sahn Cannon Quartet Personnel: Sahn Cannon - Piano & Compositions Sequoyah Cisneros - Tenor Sax Jazzy Christophe - Alto Sax Hector L. Falu Guzman - Drums Jayden Jenkins - Bass Sahn Cannon is a pianist, composer, and bandleader born in Helena, Montana, and currently lives in Boston, studying with acclaimed saxophonist and composer Tony Malaby. Sahn brings his diverse Quartet- from Korea all the way to Mauritius- to the Monkfish Stage, debuting ambitiously intricate and exciting new compositions for a first-time audience. Wanting to inspire audiences with sonic sophistication and exhilarating passages, Sahn has been carefully working on this project for nearly two years, taking the time to craft an intentional and heartfelt story about the suffering we all harbor and reasons to smile in the face of hardship. NOTE: Immerse yourself in the cozy atmosphere of the Jazz Baroness Room at The Mad Monkfish, where you can sip your favorite drink, savor sushi or Thai cuisine, and enjoy the mesmerizing sounds of a remarkable jazz ensemble.
