The Ubiquity of Jazz
IA&A at Hillyer in Washington, Georgetown/Dupont Circle.
About
Noble Jolley Jr. is a jazz pianist and composer whose sound blends the stylings of straight-ahead, neo-soul and hip-hop. He’s performed with the likes of Ron Carter, McCoy Tyner and John Legend. Bassist Blake Meister has been performing on the D.C. jazz scene for over a decade, known for his virtuosic, hard-swinging style. Integriti Reeves’s style is often described as “modern vintage,” an eclectic fusion of the old and the contemporary. Inspired by classic jazz vocalists like Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday, Reeves performs a hybrid of straight-ahead standards, Brazilian-inspired rhythms, pop and contemporary Black American Music.
