June Yun & Vid Jamnik ist ein zeitgenössisches Jazzprojekt, das Eigenkompositionen von drei Künstlern zusammenbringt. Der aus Rumänien stammende, in Berlin lebende Pianist und Komponist Adi Stoenescu ist für seinen lyrischen und zugleich experimentierfreudigen Zugang zum modernen Jazz bekannt.Die in Korea geborene und in London aufgewachsene Sängerin und Komponistin June Yun ist in New York und Berlin aktiv. Sie verbindet Jazztradition mit zeitgenössischen Einflüssen und introspektivem Songwriting und verleiht der Musik eine sehr persönliche, erzählerische Stimme. Der Vibraphonist Vid Jamnik ist für sein feines Gespür für Klang und seine nuancierte Spielweise bekannt. Vocalist and composer June Yun, born in Korea and raised in London, is active between New York and Berlin and brings a deeply personal, narrative-driven voice, blending jazz tradition with contemporary influences and introspective songwriting.
