Straight-ahead guitarist Tommy Holladay performs in a duo with Brazilian-born pianist José Luiz Martins. Martins, often found accompanying his close collaborator Alex Hamburger, can be found in clubs around the East Coast approaching straight-ahead with Oscar Peterson-style melodic sensibility and a touch of Monk-ish flair. He performs in a duo with guitarist John Lee.
