MAX HUBERDEAU QUARTET

About

Vancouver pianist and composer Max Huberdeau leads a quartet featuring Andrew Skepasts on guitar, Dan Howard on bass, and Jamison Ko on drums. The group will be performing selections of original music that reflects Huberdeau’s interest in creating musical worlds where moods, grooves, motifs, and musical characters emerge and interact. Rooted in the jazz tradition, the quartet combines expressive compositions with adventurous improvisation, drawing on the longtime musical rapport of its members.
