Ian Shaw's Pianobar

About

This hugely popular show is now over two nights (a special extra show is programmed tomorrow at 9pm). Kicking off tonight's Pianobar is the mega-talented singer-pianist, Robin Phillips. Expect loving tributes to Nat Cole and Tony Bennett from this artist, drenched in the art of the classics. New Orleans to New York, via the blues and soul of Chicago, Robin is joined by Ian and jazz singer and guitarist, Louise Balkwill, celebrating her debut album, ‘Chatterbox' and whose 'gorgeously rich timbre' (Jazzwise) will lock in with the young London soul and jazz vocal sensation, Emmanuel Ayeni. Echoes of Stevie, D'Angelo, Al Jarreau. An unmissable evening. Secure your table, order your pizza and fizz and see Ian turn the cherished basement into a glorious Pianobar.
