Dahveed Behroozi | Piano Max Marsillo | Drums Eytan Schillinger-Hyman | Bass Eytan Schillinger-Hyman is an accomplished upright and electric bassist and composer based in New York City, known for his versatility, rhythmic precision, and expansive musical voice. A recent graduate of The Juilliard School with a Master’s degree in Jazz Bass Performance, he trained under jazz luminaries including Gerald Cannon, Ron Carter, Ben Wolfe, Donald Vega, and Billy Drummond. Active across both the New York City and San Francisco Bay Area jazz scenes, Eytan has performed at major venues and festivals such as Blue Note NYC, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, SFJAZZ, The Anthem in Washington, D.C. (opening for Lalah Hathaway), Smalls Jazz Club, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. His collaborative work includes performances with Matthew Whitaker, Langston Hughes II, Quincy Phillips, Mike King, Christopher McBride, Lawrence Fields, and many other celebrated artists. Eytan holds dual degrees in Jazz Bass Performance and Sociology from Oberlin College and Conservatory, where he studied with influential jazz figures such as Billy Hart, Gary Bartz, and Eddie Henderson.
