Yes there was Blues Note - however recording label giants Impulse, Verve, Atlantic and Columbia Records Played an integral role in delivering the genre of Jazz to the Masses. The Jazz Label Giants Super Band will play music by the Guitarists who contributed and helped shape the sound of Jazz and the biggest labels of the genre. This show features the most well known and loved instrumentals by Jazz Guitar Icons including: Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Django Reinhardt, Charlie Christian, Kenny Burrell, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Pat Metheny, John Mclaughlin, Larry Carlton. This exciting high energy show will featured the paired virtuosity of Chris Bieniek and Rowan Pattison on guitar along with a locally renown rhythm section legends Gavin Pearce on Bass and Gerry Pantizis on Drums.
