Eugenia Serra - vocals Oscar Ployart - piano Ties Laarakker - double bass Jacob Lindberg - drums Oscar Ployart Trio ft. Eugenia Serra With an expressive voice, Eugenia stands out for her interpretative sensitivity and for a musical approach that combines respect for tradition with a personal search for sound and storytelling. Currently based in Amsterdam, she is expanding her musical horizon, exploring new influences within jazz and related genres. For the current project, she was invited by the Oscar Ployart Trio, an Amsterdam-based jazz constellation, led by Danish pianist Oscar Ployart. Exploring the work of the great singers of the golden age of jazz and their collaborations with the legendary piano trios of that era, the newly formed quartet seeks to make a sensitive and deeply personal contribution to the genre while paying respect to the greats of the past.
