János Egri Jr. is a Junior Prima Award-winning jazz pianist known for his versatility and captivating stage presence. Active since the age of 18, he is a well-known figure in the Hungarian jazz scene and has collaborated across genres—from mainstream jazz to pop and avant-garde projects. His talent was recognized by world-renowned Italian pianist Antonio Faraò, who praised him as “an excellent pianist”. Egri received the Special Prize of the 2023 Müpa Jazz Showcase, leading to a sold-out concert at London’s iconic 606 Club with top UK musicians. He was also awarded **“Young Jazz Musician of the Year”** by the Hungarian Jazz Federation and later earned his master’s and teaching degrees from the Liszt Academy under Kálmán Oláh.
