The BruMing band celebrates two contrasting heroes of American music: chamber jazz composer Dave Brubeck and the titanic force of nature that was Charles Mingus. Both of these iconic bandleaders put out groundbreaking albums in 1959, 'Time Out' and 'Ah Um', respectively and it is from these recordings that The BruMing Band draw their material.
