Hungarian Musician’s Xchange: The Rob Barron Trio with Balazs Raboczki

About

For over a decade, the 606 Club has partnered with the Hungarian-based non-profit Harmonia Muhely Alapitvany (Harmónia Jazz Workshop), co-founded by the late Peter Pallai to facilitate the exchange of jazz musicians between the UK and Hungary. For this performance, alongside the fantastic Rob Barron (Phil Woods, Grant Stewart, Patti Austin, Al Jarreau, Marlena Shaw…) and his trio Hungarian saxophonist Balazs Raboczki will be featured as our special guest. Driven by a love of improvised music, he works with numerous projects including the modern jazz group Black Tea, as well as the techno/drum 'n' bass outfit Dragon Flyers. This promises to be an exciting collaboration between two of the finest musicians from their respective scenes. Photo of Rob Barron by Benjamin Amure; photo of Balazs Raboczki by Peter Csendes.
