Violinist Kaethe Hostetter, also known as K8A, blends her classical training with her immersion in east coast avant-jazz and improvisation scenes. She performs tracks from her album Impressions of Ethiopia, an eclectic mixture of ambient sound, electronics, psychedelic music, deb reggae and East African music traditions she observed while living in Addis Ababa. Opening is Virginia-based reggae and afrobeats artist Andy Betezema.
