Gloss draws from classic vocal jazz and bop, while using contemporary ensemble writing to create performances that feel both rooted in tradition and modern in energy.</p><p> </p><p>Leading the Joe Gloss Group, he has performed extensively in Bay Area venues, including San Francisco's very own Black Cat.
