Vocalist and percussionist Cyril Neville began his career as a member of his brother Art Neville’s band, The Meters, later forming The Neville Brothers band alongside his siblings. Neville is lauded as a founding father of New Orleans’ signature funk and rock-infused jazz style, with a repertoire also including soul and R&B. He leads a tribute to The Grateful Dead, sufusing their psychedelia by way of bluegrass sound with the funk and groove of New Orleans.
