Tiana Young Air Mail Special is a show created by Tiana Young and James Shortland to celebrate some of the great Ella Fitzgerald’s most iconic songs and scat solos, including Air Mail Special, How High the Moon, Dream a Little Dream of Me, and many more! This show is led by two of Australia’s young, budding jazz talents. Both Tiana and James already have an impressive history of performing with some of Australia’s finest jazz musicians, such as Judy Bailey, Kevin Hunt, Dale Barlow, Julien Wilson, James Bowers—the list goes on! Tiana and James also perform their own original compositions and have frequently played to packed audiences across Australia at venues such as the Jazzlab, Church Street Studios, Foundry616 (now closed), and Lazybones. They are beyond honoured to share their love of Ella and present their show exclusively at the Paris Cat.
