Kenny Horst has been at the forefront of the Twin Cities jazz scene for over five decades, garnering a reputation for his musicianship and his excellence in recognizing and booking upcoming and established talent, all while running the Artists’ Quarter , one of the most beloved jazz clubs in the midwest. Brian Grivna spent 12 years as a staff woodwind player at the Guthrie Theater and has toured with the Buddy Rich Band. He has performed and recorded with the Minnesota Orchestra and the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. He has been a regular on “A Prairie Home Companion” and played in a number of Broadway pit bands. Billy Peterson is one of the most celebrated bass players in the world. His uncompromising talents as a performer have brought him widespread recognition, as well as his numerous credits as a composer, arranger and producer. Billy’s contributions to the music scene are inestimable. Will Kjeer brings the continuum of jazz music to new audiences and stages across the globe. At the crossroads of jazz, folk, and classical music, he is currently touring with the legendary folk singer Judy Collins. When not on the road he is producing and releasing original music featuring his own trio, his jazz quintet, and a jazz/classical chamber ensemble featuring string quartet.
