Nick Fraser Presents Ian Sinclair Quartet " Ian Sinclair is a Saskatoon-based pianist/keyboardist and composer with a primary focus in jazz and related creative music. He regularly performs either solo or with many of the province's best-known musicians as well as touring artists in various settings - often as featured artist. He moved back to Saskatchewan after 15 years experience playing in Toronto. Ian returns regularly to perform with many acclaimed musicians in that city's impressive jazz scene. His most frequent collaborators have included Jim Lewis, Allison Au, Nick Fraser, and Mark Godfrey-all of whom have their own award-winning projects. With the assistance of a ""Creation Grant"" awarded by the Toronto Arts Council and an ""Artist Development"" grant awarded by FACTOR, Ian composed new works and recorded these compositions on his debut album, Know the Reflection, which was officially released in 2018. Beyond this, Ian has appeared with many other award-winning veteran Canadian musicians including Andre White, Terry Promane, Mike Murley, Kelly Jefferson, Brad Turner, Hugh Fraser, Christine Jensen, and Ingrid Jensen.
