Being a graduate of Humber College’s Bachelors of Music program, he has been making a name for himself through his side work and band leading. He has had the pleasure to play alongside Randy Brecker, Guido Basso, Ingrid Jensen, Brandi Disterheft and Ron Westray while in the Jazz FM Youth Big Band and through Humber College. In July 2024, Jackson released an EP of his original compositions and arrangements untitled “New Light” with James Griffith, Julian Straatsma, Jesse White and Jack Johnston. Jackson brings inspiration within his drumming and compositions from musicians such as Bill Stewart
