The collaboration between Bori Orbán and Valami Swing dates back nearly a decade. For their new album, released in 2024 and titled Chanter la vie, l’amour, they have compiled a selection of their favorite songs together, blending chanson, jazz, swing, and manouche. Bori Orbán’s chanson-inspired style and Piaf-like, distinctive voice, and Valami Swing’s unique, virtuoso sound, rooted in gypsy jazz, come together in harmonious unity to bring old and new songs to life, preserving a world that lives on through these songs. Bori Orbán’s regular musical partner, Kristóf Pánczél, will play the piano as a guest artist.
